Successful performance requires a large aerobic engine, high levels of strength endurance, and smart race execution. This is the philosophy of our Hyrox Coaching programmes, that have helped over 100 athletes qualify for the HYROX World Championships.

Build the Aerobic Engine
HYROX rewards athletes who can keep running well deep into the race. Training is structured to build a large aerobic base so you can handle volume, recover between stations, and keep the pace under fatigue.
Strength Endurance for HYROX
Strength work is programmed to match the demands of the race rather than chasing gym numbers. The focus is repeated compound efforts under fatigue that actually transfer to sleds, carries, and wall balls.
Race Execution
Pacing, transitions, and station management often decide the race. Training includes specific sessions that teach athletes how to control effort and avoid burning too many matches early.

WDM Coaching was founded by Aaron Woodman, a coach with nearly two decades of experience in endurance and strength training. After representing Northern Ireland Masters in cross country and running a 2:24 marathon, Aaron now specialises in HYROX performance coaching and has helped over 100 athletes qualify for the HYROX World Championships.
